Just wanted to share a few pictures from first episode of the new series of BBC drama, The Hour, which aired on Wednesday. Off the top of my head I can think of three television drama's that I refuse to miss Mad Men, Sherlock and this; as the others are unpredictable at best, when it comes to when they are being aired/filmed, I've already come to rely on The Hour for some regularity. I'm also extremely excited for The Girl, the BBC drama starring Sienna Miller which follows Alfred Hitchcocks relationship with The Birds actress Tippi Hedren. I definitely prefer the more recent period dramas (1950's/1960's onwards) on television at the moment, to some of the others (*cough* Downton Abbey *cough*).
Are you a fan of The Hour? Is there anything on television that you can't miss?

"My job is to create a bubble of belief where the story can become real. I do think that if I can help the actors believe, that transmits itself to the audience, almost in a subliminal way. But on the other hand, I know that this all sounds mad."
